Description
Grape variety: Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Cabernet Franc 15%
The Vineyard: Located in the districts of Saint Maixant, Verdelais and Loupiac, facing south on the first slopes of the Garonne’s right bank the vine are aged average 28 years old.
The soil: Soils composed of Clay-limestone.
Wine Making: Wine vinified in concrete and stainless steel vats, equipped with a temperature regulation system. The grapes are completely de-stemmed and transported on a conveyor belt. Temperature controlled brings stability of wine maceration. The resulting wines are then matured in vats for 12 to 18 months.
Tasting notes:
Appearance: Deep crimson
Bouquet: Elegant, fruity aromas with a beautiful intensity.
Taste: Fleshy with good length, fruity, very pleasant, elegant tannins, a good finish.
Serving temperature: Serve between 16°C and 18°C.
Serving suggestions: Can be enjoyed as Buffets, cold meats, white and red meats and cheese.
When to drink: Ready to drink now, can be kept for another 3 to 5 years.
